One of the most valuable techniques for identifying existing problems and preventing future problems is to walk the site and conduct a thorough visual and hands-on inspection of the PV system components. Mid-America uses the Corrective Action Request (CAR) – method to analyze and determine the level of nonconformity to prioritize corrective actions.

We work with well known tracker manufacturers as their warranty service provider for the U.S. market. We also support module manufacturers if modules have to be exchanged.

Mid-America’s preventive maintenance service includes basic scheduled maintenance as well as options for I-V curve tracing or thermal imaging. Corrective maintenance will increase system uptime and availability. It is our key objective that inverters are online otherwise it can have a dramatic negative impact on the ROI of a PV system.
