A solar array is a 25-plus-year asset, and small problems—a failed bypass diode, a tripped string, a cracked module—quietly cost production every day they go unnoticed. Mid-America Solar’s new Operations & Maintenance division brings the same crews, equipment, and field discipline behind our construction work to the life of your system.

Our solar-specific service team provides comprehensive preventative and corrective O&M for commercial and utility-scale PV—identifying developing issues, maintaining equipment, documenting system condition, and keeping your assets operating at their full potential. Whether we installed your array or another contractor did, we’ll find what’s underperforming, tell you what it’s costing you, and fix it.

Do you service systems Mid-America Solar didn’t install?

Yes. We inspect, maintain, and repair commercial, agricultural, and utility systems regardless of the original installer.

What’s the difference between an IR inspection and an annual O&M program?

An aerial IR inspection is a drone thermography flight with a Sitemark anomaly report—a fast, module-level health check. An annual O&M program adds remote monitoring review, an on-site preventative maintenance inspection, electrical and safety checks, and a yearly system condition report. Combine both with our O&M + IR Package.

How soon will I get my report?

Standard turnaround is 2–5 days. Rush 48-hour reports are available for an additional 25%.

What areas do you serve?

We’re headquartered in Marshall, Michigan. Sites within 75 miles have no mobilization fee; beyond that, mobilization is $1.25/mile round trip.

Can you fix the issues the inspection finds?

Yes. Our licensed crews quote corrective work on a time-and-materials basis and can re-fly afterward to verify the repair, at 50% of the original inspection price.

Tell us about your system and what you need. Our O&M team will follow up with pricing and scheduling.
